For me this is enjoyably terrible, but the thing I actually can't stand is the subber when Mint is referring to Zakuro is using "Queen" for "Nee-Sama" which is just baffling to me.

The fansubs need work. They half ass it whenever Zakuro sings. They use romaji for the opening credits. And the whole nee-sama thing.

Plus, if this is the same person who did the subs for episode 4. They really half-ass things to a painful degree.

One particularly weird bit is the truck/van delivering costumes and props having 4 extra outfits that match Ichigo and the others, both in terms and size and trim colour, plus it matching Zakuro's outfit despite her being known as a solo performer who obviously wouldn't have any need for the extra outfits.

The whole "my queen" shit is giving me very "meme" translation. Especially when (if you are an avid anime fan) you hear "Nee-sama" which is not literally translated to "My queen" it's so... 2022 that is not what they are saying. It's like when fansubs translate things to "sus" or something similar. They are doing it to match the common lingo and not being faithful and it's really off putting to hear Mint constantly refer to another person as "my QUEEN". It makes Mint look like a, for lack of nicer words, a lil bitch with no self respect.

I know in the original Mint was a fan of Zakuro but she would NEVER bow and worship her the way 2022 Mint is, it's embarassing.

Zakuro really fills like that super sentai sixth ranger that doesn't join the team at first until she learns the classsical value of teamwork and all the classic stuff

IRONICALLY there have been recent sixth rangers that would just love to join the team but are rejected at first (dondoraku from donbrothers), or don't join but are treated as the "co-woking team" and by all accounts they don't join officially just to look cooler even if they are friends with the team in and out of work (zox from zenkaiger)

zakuro has no idea she will defintly be treated as a rookie by Ryou despite her not knowing he even exists

that would be hilarious that she discovers none of them is actually the leader of their team

she might even take offense to the fact that the leader actually used her in a experiment without her knowing

Unlike the original the remake follows the manga while adding some new details. In the manga Ichigo and the girls wore bunny girl outfits to act as extras. Having them wear idol outfits instead was the best decision.
